function by decomposing it into a weighted sum of much simpler sinusoidal component functions sometimes referred to as normal Fourier modes, or simply modes for short. The weights, or coefficients, of the modes, are a one-to-one mapping of the original function. These modal coefficients are sometimes themselves confusingly referred to as modes for brevity, especially in physics literature. Fourier series serve many useful purposes, as manipulation and conceptualization of the modal coefficients are oft ....etc

ABSTRACT

New technique for two-dimensional (2-D) spectral estimation of a stationary random field (SRF) is investigated in this paper. This is based on the extension of the Radon transform theory to stationary random fields (SRF’s), proposed by Jain and Ansari . Using the Radon transform, the 2-D estimation problem is reduced to a set of onedimensional (1-D) independent problems, which could then be solved using 1-D linear prediction (LP) or by any other high ....etc

ABSTRACT
Hyper spectral imaging, or imaging spectroscopy, combines the power of digital imaging and spectroscopy. For each pixel in an image, a hyper spectral camera acquires the light intensity for a large number of contiguous spectral bands. Every pixel in the image thus contains a continuous spectrum and can be used to characterize the objects in the s ....etc

What is Spectral density??
Spectral density is a positive real function of a frequency variable associated with a stationary stochastic process, or a deterministic function of time.
Spectral density has dimension of power per HZ or energy per HZ.
The spectral densities are flat, i.e. independent of frequency.
Flat spectral density:-
• Spectral density is often called the spectrum of the signal .

ABSTRACT
In this seminar paper, DESIGN OF A HIGH SPEED SIGNAL PROCESSING SYSTEM WITH A FLOATING-POINT DSP FOR FTIR SPECTROMETER a new Spectral Signal Processing System (SSPS), which uses a high-speed floating-point digital signal processor (DSP) as its central processor, is presented. The main application of the system is in Fourier transform in ....etc

Isolation and Spectral Characterization of Chlorophyll-Protein Complexes of Chloroplast Thylakoid Membranes
Introduction

In the undergraduate biology laboratory, labs on photosynthesis ordinarily fall into a small
number of categories:
1. measurement of the overall process of photosynthesis by carbon dioxide uptake or
oxygen evolution
2. measurement of the Hill reaction (the light driven reduction of an exogenous dye with
electrons from water) in isolated chloroplasts
3. pigment analysis by thin-layer or paper chromatography
