Hot isostatic processing (HIP) is the latest method to produce open porous materials, such as ceramics or metals. In this review paper, features and applications of HIPed porous materials are described. Sintering behavior under high pressure gas is also discussed in order to understand how porous materials are obtained by this method. Abstract
Hot machining is the process which is used for easy machining and to eliminate the problems of low cutting speeds, feeds and heavy loads on the machine bearings. This problem arises when machining process is being done on the new and tough materials. CFD Modelling of Hot-Machining Operation is a machining method conducted on conventional machine tools in which work piece is preheated before cutting operation to become softer and thereby to reduce its shear strength.
