Global Issues

Everyday radios, newspapers, televisions and the internet warn us of energy exhaustion, atmospheric pollution and hostile climatic conditions. After few hundred years of industrial development, we are facing these global problems while at the same time we maintain a high standard of living. The most important problem we are faced with is whether we should continue developing or die.

The design, construction and maintenance of buildings has a tremendous impact on our environment and our natural resources. The buildings all together use the one-third of all the energy consumed in the country and two-thirds of all electricity. So the challenges is to build them smart, so that they use a minimum of nonrenewable energy, produce a minimum of pollution and costs a minimum of energy, while increasing the comfort, health and safety of the people who live and work in them. Green or sustainable buildings use key resources like energy, water, materials, and land more efficiently than conventional buildings.
Why shift to green buildings:
1.Address growing costs of distribution
2.Reduce rise an electricity and gas prices.
3.Help cut pollution from fossil fuels.
4.Improve quality of educational environment
