My project involves comparing some of the wireless applications in use today by studying how they work. Then focusing on WIMAX (IEEE 802.16 standard) which is a part of wireless LAN , the project will deal with the study of the various intrusion attempts and interruptions that it is faced with and their detection. It would also involve a study of the encryption and decryption schemes used.
