The vulnerabilities of the textual password have been well known. Users tend to pick short passwords or pass- words that are easy to remember, which makes the pass- words vulnerable for attackers to break. Furthermore, tex- tual password is vulnerable to shoulder-surng, hidden- camera and spyware attacks. Graphical password schemes have been proposed as a possible alternative to text-based scheme. Abstract


Aim of the project is to implement the Security features that can avoid Data Dictionary attacks in both the server and transmission part. The first part is to control the data dictionary attacks that occur in direct internal way to the server. Graphical based password authentication is implemented where Pixel co-ordinates are fixed as the password. CCP (cued click points) in added for more security. ABSTRACT
The main aim of the project is to introduce a different type of authentication which is more convenient to the user. In this, the user is provided with an image and this image will be used for authentication. This image will be containing minute details. User has to click on some positions in the image for authentication. Then this sequence of coordinates will form his password and can be used to authenticate in future.
