HEATSINK CALCULATION AND EXAMPLES
In many cases, GS-Rx and GSxTy-z modules don’t require any additional cooling methods because the dimensions and the shape of the metal boxes were studied to offer the minimum possible thermal resistance case to ambient for a given module. It should be remembered, that GS-R and GS-T modules are power devices i.e. products that deliver power and dissipate power and, depending on ambient temperature, an additional heat-sink or forced ventilation or both may be required to ....etc

Explanatory Examples on Indian Seismic Code IS 1893

Problem Statement:
Consider a four-storey reinforced concrete office building shown in Fig. 1.1. The building is located in
Shillong (seismic zone V). The soil conditions are medium stiff and the entire building is supported on a raft
foundation. The R. C. frames are infilled with brick-masonry. The lumped weight due to dead loads is 12
kN/m2 on floors and 10 kN/m2 on the roof. The floors are to cater for ....etc

Combinational Logic Structures

Continuous assignment statements are a very useful and compact language structure for specifying small
collections of gates. The following examples are intended to go beyond those provided in the text and
illustrate concepts that sometimes are found to be difficult.

Multiple-input Multiplexors

Multiplexors requiring more than two inputs can also be specified using procedural code, usually by using a
case or casex satement. The 8:1 multiplexor d ....etc

Abstract
In this paper, we address the problem of nonlinear
sensor dynamic compensation that will be performed on board
wireless sensor network nodes. To this aim, we design suitable
reduced-complexity learning-from-example algorithms and implement
them on resource-constrained devices, namely, 8-bit
microcontrollers. The proposed approach is validated with simulations
on different examples of nonlinear sensor models.

EXAMPLES ON LINEARIZATION

Consider the electromagnetic suspension system shown in the figure. An electromagnet is
located at the upper part of the experimental system. Utilizing the electromagnetic force f,
we desire to suspend the iron ball. Note that this simple electromagnetic suspension
system is essentially unworkable. Hence feedback control is indispensable. As a gap
sensor, a standard induction probe of eddy current type is placed below the ball.
