Abstract
This is a LAN Messenger designed to function in a heterogeneous network containing mainly machine running on windows-based and Linux-based machines on which the Java Virtual Machine( JVM) is running. The main reason for taking up such a project was the lack of a simple LAN Messenger which works in a heterogeneous network. Introduction
This Installation and Configuration Instruction describes how to install the DCN
LAN Switch (DLS) in a 19” rack and how to set up, configure and maintain
