This paper presents a new design and implementation of HDD (Hard Disk Drive) embedded DSR (Digital Satellite Receiver). The digital broadcasting technology enables multimedia access via broadcasting system. The amount of digital data to be processed is increased as compared to the previous broadcasting environment. In this paperâ„¢ a method is proposed to provide storage ability of a DSR to cope with these changes. Efficient digital data storage and management technology is also discussed. A smart camera performs real-time analysis to recognize scenic elements.
