The present paper describes the utilization of paper industry effluent as water reducing agent in concrete for its effects on various properties like slump, setting time, compressive strength etc. The properties have been compared with commercially available water reducing agents like modified lignosulphonate (MLS) and sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde condensate (SNF).
