Driver fatigue resulting from sleep deprivation or disorders is an important factor for the increasing number of accidents on today’s road. This paper aims at advancing a system, to detect fatigue symptoms in drivers and produce timely warnings that could prevent accidents. This is an approach for real-time detection of driver’s fatigue. Summary
International statistics shows that a large number of roadaccidents are caused by driver fatigue. Therefore, a systemthat can detect oncoming driver fatigue and issue timelywarning could help to prevent many accidents, andconsequently save money and reduce personal suffering.
