Sir, am 7th sem electrical engineering student.
we are making a digital alarm clock with alarm using 8255 microprocessor, seven segment display 7447 and decoder/buffer LA 5011-11. We have fabricated the display circuit and finding problem where to connect the alarm( to which pin of the microprocessor) please help with a detailed circuit diagram) ....etc

Abstract:
In this project we use Dallas Semiconductor's RTC DS12C887 to keep the time updated and display it on LCD for the end user. It can also give the alarm on user defined time. All the operations are controlled by 8-bit Microcontroller. Microcontroller read the time from DS12C887 RTC and display it on LCD in real time. It also controls the alarm. ....etc
