H.A.L was establised on 1 october 1964 by Seth Walchand hirachand with primary motive of production of Defence and civil aircraft.
H.A.L lucknow ,an accessories division was establised in 1970 with the primary objective of manufacturing systems and accessories for various aircraft and engines .
