Spamassassin, which is at present said to be best open source spam _lter, aims at providing a single solution that can satiate the needs of individuals as well as large organizations. Genrally linux network consist of Linux client,Windows client & other network components like routers & switches.Our task is to monitor the network components using snmp.Snmp is a simple network monitor protocol which is used to monitor the netwok as well as to control network components.We are developing the system which monitor as well as control the network from central monitoring client.For this task we used open source softwares like nagios etc.
