Automated ambulance gate is a very useful device for the hospitals etc. This device uses the infrared technology. Today infrared rays are used in many applications like infrared communication, infrared remote control, temperature measurement using infrared rays; infrared rays based pain killer etc. But in this project we are concentrating on how to use the infrared rays to activate the gate and also how to encode and decode the infrared rays.
