Voltage required in the modern electronic systemsare single or multiple regulated voltages such as3.3 V, 5V, 12V, -5V, or –12V, etc. It can be suppliedby using DC/DC converters. The operations ofStep-Down DC/DC converter is introduced in theapplication note. A practical constant voltage,DC/DC step-down converter design based on theAIC1563 is also illustrated to help the readers inthe circuit designs and applications.

ABSTRACT
This paper describes the design and implementation of a Three Phase Power Converter (AC/DC/AC) as a fourth year group project for the Power Electronics and Drives B subject at Victoria University. The system implemented converts a three phase input voltage of 400 Vrms at a power rating of 500 W to DC by using a three phase diode bridge rectifier, and a Capacitive filter which assists in stabilising the output DC voltage produced. Abstract
We propose a new method of controller design fora boost converter in this paper. An optimization model for thecontroller design is developed, and solution is sought through anovel optimization algorithm which combines standard GeneticAlgorithm (GA) with evolution of a queen bee in a hive. Computedand measured results suggest that the new algorithm converges tothe best designs on a limited number of iterations.Index Terms—Boost converter, optimization, queen bee.

Abstract
This paper deals with a reduced rating delta-polygon
autotransformer based twenty-four-pulse ac-dc converter feeding
variable frequency induction motor drives (VFIMD's) for
improving power quality at the point of common coupling (PCC).
The proposed twenty four-pulse ac-dc converter is realized on the
principle of dc ripple re-injection technique for harmonic
