This paper reviews some of the existing studies on one-to-twenty four hour load forecasting algorithms, and presents an expert system based algorithm as an alternative. The logical and syntactical relationships between weather and load, and the prevailing daily load shapes have been examined to develop the rules for this approach. This system uses RF transmission technology. The RF transceiver module which I use has a range up to 100 metres in ideal conditions. This module can transmit and receive 4-bit parallel data with or without 8 address bits using a specific encoder and decoder ICâ„¢s.
