Computerized Conveyor Belt Control
A belt conveyor consists of two or more pulleys, with a continuous loop of material - the conveyor belt - that rotates about them. One or both of the pulleys are powered, moving the belt and the material on the belt forward. The powered pulley is called the drive pulley while the un-powered pulley is called the idler. There are two main industrial classes of belt conveyors; those in general material handling such as those moving boxes along inside a factory and bulk material handlin..............etc

Introduction
-Conveyor belts are used in many industries to transport goods and materials between stages of a process.
-Conveyor systems is a good way to reduce the risks of musculoskeletal injury in tasks or processes that involve manual handling.
-If they are not properly designed conveyor belt workstations can contribute to the development of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD’s).
-MSD’s can develop when workers adopt awkward and uncomfortable postures for long periods while working.
-Leaning, stoopin..............etc

Introduction
The first step is to determine tha control. The purpose of the control law is to allow us to assign a set of pole locations for the closed-loop system that will correspond to satisfactory dynamic response in terms of rise time and other measure of transient response.
Then, secondly, we show how to introduce the reference input with full-state feedback. We describe the process of finding the poles for good design. In the second step, If t..............etc

Abstract
A belt is a looped strip of flexible material, used to mechanically page link two or more rotating shafts.
They may be used as a source of motion, to efficiently transmit power, or to track relative movement. Belts are looped over pulleys.
In a two pulley system, the belt can either drive the pulleys in the same direction, or the belt may be crossed, so that the direction of the shafts is opposite.

Introduction to Belt drives
Typical belt drives
Two types of belt drives, an open belt drive, (Fig. 13.1.1) and a crossed belt drive (Fig. 13.1.2) are shown. In both the drives, a belt is wrapped around the pulleys. Let us consider the smaller pulley to be the driving pulley. This pulley will transmit motion to the belt and the motion of the belt in turn will give a rotation to the larger driven pulley. In open belt drive system the rotation of both the pulleys is in the same direction, whereas, for cross..............etc

From transmission error measurement to Pulley-Belt slip determination in serpentine belt drives: influence
Abstract —
Serpentine belt drives are often used in front
end accessory drive of automotive engine. The accessories
resistant torques are getting higher within new technological
innovations as stater-alternator, and belt transmissions
are always asked for higher capacity. Two kind of tensioners
are used to maintain minimum tension that insure power
transmission and minimize slip: dry friction or hydraulic
tensioners. An..............etc
