Abstract
In this paper, we present a novel maximum power point tracking method for a photovoltaic system consisting of a photovoltaic panel with a power electronic converter; the whole is feeding a battery. This maximum power point depends on the temperature and irradiation conditions. A robust control using a PI regulator is used to track this maximum power point. The synthesis of this regulator has been achieved by using Bode method. For having a transfer function of the system, we have used a small signal modeling. Satisfactory theoretica..............etc

1. DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

1.1 General description of Distribution System:

Distribution system is that part of the electric power system which connects the high voltage transmission network to the low voltage consumer service point

In any distribution system the power is distributed to various uses through feeders, distributors and service mains. Feeders are conductors of large current carrying capacity which carry the current in bulk to the feeding points. ..............etc

ABSTRACT

The objective of active power factor correction is to make the input to a power supply look like a simple resistor. An active power factor corrector does this by programming the input current in response to the input voltage. As long as the ratio between the voltage and current is a constant the input will be resistive and the power factor will be unity. When the ratio deviates from a constant, the input will contain phase displacement, harmonic distortion or both and eithe..............etc

Design of Voltage Regulator
A transformer is a device with two or more stationary electrical ckt that are conductively disjointed but magnetically coupled by a common time-varying magnetic Field. Transformer are basically passive device for transforming voltage and current one of the windings, generally termed as secondary winding, transformer energy through the principal of mutual induction and drivers power to the wad. The voltage level at primary and secondary windings are usually different and any increase or decreas..............etc

Many analog systems need a stable power supply voltage that does not vary with temperature and time in order to operate properly. In a battery operated system the battery voltage is not stable, e.g. it decreases with decreasing temperature and with ageing. In that case a voltage regulator must be used, that regulates the battery voltage and generates a stable supply voltage to power other circuitry. In this thesis a voltage regulator to be used in a battery operated system has been designed which meets the given specification of stability and p..............etc

Design and Construction of a Remote Controlled Fan Regulator
Abstract

The paper presents a simple design and implementation of a remote controlled fan regulator. It enables the user to operate a fan regulator from approximately 10 meters away. The remote transmits a tone using an infrared light-emitting diode. This tone is decoded by a receiver, since the receiver only switches when the tone is received. The system was broken down into simpler functional blocks namely; infra-red transmitter, infra-red sensor, signal ..............etc
