Tuticorin Power Station is a power station located near Thoothukudi newport on the shore of the Bay of Bengal, Southern India.
It has 5 units with a total installed capacity of 1,050 MW and extends over 160 hectares. The entire unit is based on coal. Coal is transported by sea through the ship Coal transported by ship is given to crushers crushing coal particles to 10-20mm. Crushed coal is fed to coal mills with bowl roll through bunkers.
