Healthnicon was founded in March 1995 and was one of the first private nursing schools in South Africa accredited by the South African Council of Nursing (SANC). Namely: the Healthnicon Vaal Campus and the Western Cape Healthnicon Campus.
To gain the status of a Private Superior Nursing Education Institution over the years. Healthnicon is dedicated to the training of health professionals as short-term community health workers, auxiliary nurses, registered nurses, as well as registered nurses. Recently we have also added additional short courses such as Geriatric Care, Pediatric Care and Orthopedic Care.
The headquarter of Healthnicon is located in Cape Town and the company consists of three campuses, namely: the Pretoria Campus, the Vaal Campus located in Vereeniging and the Western Cape Campus located in Parow. The three campuses are easily accessible through various modes of transportation.
Healthnicon offers students a variety of training programs that include specific, scant, or critical skills. Our training programs provide students with formal qualifications that enable recognition, continuing education and training opportunities, as well as professional and personal development.
