Electric Power Systems is a network of electrical components for supply, transfer, store and use of power supply. An example of an electric power system is a grid that powers the extended area. Electric grid power systems can be broadly divided into generators which supply electricity, transmission systems which provide electricity from the production centers to the load centers, and the distribution system that lends power to the surrounding homes and industries. Small power systems are also found in industries, hospitals, commercial buildings and homes. Most of these systems depend on the three phase AC power-standard for large-scale power transmission and distribution in the modern world. Specific electrical systems which are not always dependent on AC power of the three-phase, are found in aircraft, electric rail system, sea liner and automobile.
