GSM based Control Panel for Agricultural and Domestic Water Pumps

Controlling devices using wired switches are common. A few years back
controlling devices using wireless remote control switches like infrared remote control
switch, RF based remote control switches were used. But these technologies have their
own limitations in terms of operation and range.
V Tec Electronics India has introduced a Control Panel Device for Agricultural
and Domestic Pump sets, which does not require manual switching (ON/OFF). This
control device can be used from any distance, ranging from meters to kilometers using a
simple Telephone or Mobile phone.
Features of GSM based Control Panel for Agricultural and Domestic Water Pumps
· No need to point the remote to the device as in infrared remote.
· Not limited by distance [range] as in RF [Radio frequency] remote.
· Microcontroller and GSM based operation.
· To switch ON / OFF the pump, the user (Farmer) needs to dial the mobile (SIM)
number which is connected to the control panel. After calling the mobile number,
the user has to press numbers on his mobile to perform various operations and to
know the status of the pump.
