The attendance system is basically an embedded one. Is embedded in the hardware controlled by software. Here the software using a Microcontroller controls all hardware components. Microcontroller plays an important role in the system.
The main objective of the system is to identify and make the absent person. This requires a unique product, which is able to distinguish between different person. This is possible with the new emerging technology of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Main parts of an RFID system are RFID tag (and a unique identification number) and the RFID reader (for reading RFID). With this system, RFID 125KHz RFID reader used in the operation. EEPROM is used to record the details of a person's ability to store 256 data at a time. PC can be used to restore all the details of this will be.
This report provides a clear picture of hardware and software used in the system. It also provides a general framework with a detailed treatment of the system.
