Engineering is primarily the application of knowledge. However, the application must be made with caution, as a result the system is efficient and effective, and that will be helpful. This concept is one of the main mechanisms used by the College to give you the opportunity to gain experience in practical application, effective, efficient and useful, what you have studied for past years. Of course you can continue to experience after you graduate but the final year project will be your first exposure to the full rigor of engineering practice. It is important that you learn from this exposure and practice in all planning processes involved.
It is especially important that you learn not only to apply what you know, but to apply it with judgments, which are able to assess what you are doing and to be critical of it.
