Internet Based Remote Water Pump Control
Aim:
• Build a system where in user could remotely send commands to control a complete water pump system.
• The user must be able to remotely send command either via SMS or Internet (Email or Server Connection)
• The system must have the pump on-off timings pre-stored and must follow them in case there is no input from the user.
• Appropriate feedback must also be collected using analog to digital converters and must be sent back to the user.
• The system must follow a generic design and hence must be able to adapt the requirements of any farmer.
• A microcontroller based hardware must be designed to control the motor and relay drivers.
• The hardware must also support a USB to serial converter to support USB interface provided by all the portable computers available today.
• A GSM modem connected to the portable computer will be responsible for sending/receiving SMS messages from/to user.
• The system must also facilitate internet connection wherein user must be able to send/receive messages via email or server connection.
