INTRODUCTION
Vault and Pursual Engine is a web application developed for the students.
It can be accessed throughout the World once we deploy it in internet.
Any student or alumni of that college can access the search Engine to know about any other student or Alumni of that college. It provides a good interface between students within the college and the students who have passed out.
The students have to register themselves with all their details and they can view and even update their details in the later course of time.
EXISTING SYSTEM
Though the existing systems are computer based, they are not connected onto the World Wide Web i.e., web-based systems.
Even if they are web-based systems there are many flaws or drawbacks in these systems. Some of them are even being handled manually
The drawbacks include time delay,redundancy,accuracy,information retrival.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system overcomes the drawbacks of the existing system.
ORACLE environment which is a freeware is one of the effective platforms when it is used for these types of online processes.
The robustness of the ORACLE is too high as the internal software modules are not inter-related.
Here the updating and maintenance of the profiles becomes very easy.
MODULES
Administrator Module:
The administrator is responsible for adding the students.
When any student submits the registration form, it is to be verified, after all the details are approved by the administrator, the student will be added into the site.
The administrator maintains the passwords of Event Manager and that of himself.
Event Manager Module:
The event manager is responsible for scheduling the events and updating them.
Alumni/Student Module:
The Alumni/Student can register themselves .
After the approval from the administrator they can login into their account and can send mails, post queries, update their profiles and even search for other student details.

Administrator Module:
The admin maintains a password for himself and event manger. If he enters a wrong password then an error message will be displayed.
Event Manager Module:
The event manager manages and updates information. Any incorrect information being updated then error message appears.
Student/Alumni Module:
Here if the user tries to enter any wrong data in the fields of registration form then it display an error saying to verify all fields properly.
