OBJECTIVE & SCOPE
• We are going to assemble two Data Base programs ( SQL & MS ACCESS) in a single program . It will make our database language fully workable each of this two programs and both also.
• This program is fully based on user - program interaction . This is the positive side of this program . This program can be defined as much more user friendly than the two other programs.
• This program guides in almost every cases so any non programmer person who has little bit idea of SQL query he/she can easily work with this program . So simplicity of this program is one of our objectives .
• The above mentioned objectives shows the strength of our program . People will accept this program for it’s facilities.
• In future following our program new more powerful software on Data Base handling , can be made.
THEORITICAL BACKGROUND
Maintaining the huge records of any large organization
is much difficult & complex full task . For that purpose
Data Base concept was created . The Data Base
Management System is for the techniques of record
Keeping and proper maintenance of them . The Structure
Query Language (S.Q.L) & MS. ACCESS are the tools by
which total Data Base Management System is implemented .
We are trying to create a new Data Base
Management programming tool using which Data Base
maintenance will be much more easy . We have
connected both SQL and MS. ACCESS in a single VB
program . We have connected them using the ADODC
tool of VB 6.0 . To maintenance purpose we have write
the SQL query for both SQL & MS. ACCESS .
SYSTEM ANALYSIS , PLAINNING & DESIGN
For any system creation we need to chock out some points about
the new system . They are like - Analysis , Planning , Design etc.
Analysis: Before starting planning or design we should make
thorough analysis on that system . We have selected this SQL
Editor topic after a deep analysis on Data Base system . We have
tried to identify the requirements of users , like - users want to make
the system user – system interactive , the requirements for developing
this total system like SQL Server , MS ACCESS , VB 6.0 etc .
Planning: After system analysis planning is an important
thing which is needed . In project planning stage we have
faced a lost of difficulties , like - how we can work with
both SQL & MS ACCESS , how to page link up them with visual basic
forms , what will be the proper design of the forms etc.
Design: It is the implementation part among the three stages -
Analysis , Planning , Design . We have designed the forms keeping in
mind the requirements . Here we have made the forms that user-system interactions can be done using the forms .
HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
For any software developing project it is very necessary to
know the computer’s hardware requirements for that software
project .
For our project the hardware requirements of machines
are minimum 256 RAM , 40 GB Hard Disk etc .
The software requirements are Visual Basic 6.0 ,
SQL server ,Windows XP / 98 as the platform etc.
METHODLOGY ADOPTED
Our project is based on Data Base Management System .
So we have adopted the Data Base Access Object
methodology of Visual Basic 6.0 tool .
