GREEN HOUSE AUTOMATION
AIM:

The main aim of the project is to develop a green house effect concept using microcontroller.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project is designed to create an artificial green house environment for corporate farming. Use of embedded technology makes this closed loop feedback control system efficient and reliable. The sensed and set temperature values are simultaneously displayed on the LCD. The circuit is programmed for ON/ OFF control of water sprinklers in the field.
The temperature sensor LM35 senses the temperature according to the requirement and converts it into an electrical signal, which is applied to the micro controller through ADC. The analog signal is converted into digital format by the analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The sensed and set values of the temperature are displayed on the 16x2 LCD. And the cooling process can be arranged according to our requirement by using water sprinklers which will be connected through a relay.
This type of farming using embedded systems is used in the fields where less time is required for getting huge crop.
MICROCONTROLLER DESCRIPTION:
The AT89C52 is a low-power, high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcomputer with 8Kbytes of Flash programmable and erasable read only memory (PEROM). The on-chip Flash allows the program memory to be reprogrammed in-system or by a conventional nonvolatile memory programmer. By combining a versatile 8-bit CPU with Flash on a monolithic chip, the Atmel AT89C52 is a powerful microcomputer, which provides a highly flexible and cost-effective solution to many embedded control applications.
FEATURES:
a. 8K Bytes of In-System Reprogrammable Flash Memory
b. Endurance: 1,000 Write/Erase Cycles
c. Fully Static Operation: 0 Hz to 24 MHz
d. 256 x 8-bit Internal RAM
e. 32 Programmable I/O Lines
f. Three 16-bit Timer/Counters
g. Eight Interrupt Sources
h. Programmable Serial Channel
