DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO – WAY WIRED INTERCOM
ABSTRACT
Since the discovery of telephone system by two great scientists, Alexander Graham Bell and Elisha Gray in 1870s, the advent of this device has aided communication between two or more telephone users.
An intercom is a private telecommunication system that allows two or more locations to communicate with each other like the telephone does.
Using the intercom, one is able to make calls by simply picking up the phone, dialing a few digits or pressing a button, and one is instantly connected to another person and a two-way conversation will be established.
This project work is aimed at establishing the operation of a two-way wired intercom used in houses and offices.
