Here is a new finger print security system project that uses the R303 / R305 module. A previous finger print protection system published on this site uses the project SM630 Its available here R-305 is approximately half of the price of the module SM 630. Therefore, we are giving a new security system project with the R303 / R 305 module.
The AT89S52 microcontroller is used to control the R305 fingerprint module in this project. Features of R305 are given below
Power DC 4.5V-6.0V
Interface UART (TTL logical level) / USB 1.1
Presently working typical: 100 ma peak: 150 mA
Match mode 1: 1 and 1: N
Time to get the image <0.5 s
Storage capacity 256
Security Level 5 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (highest))
Although it can store 256 fingers, in this project we are only using 100 fingerprints.
