Object-oriented modeling is an approach to model an application that is used at the beginning of the software life cycle when an object-oriented approach is used for software development. The software life cycle is generally divided into stages ranging from abstract descriptions of the problem to designs, through code and testing, and finally to implementation. The modeling is done at the beginning of the process.
