The Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 is part of Section 37 of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 to regulate the supply, transmission, generation and use of electricity. These are the necessary measures mainly that must be adopted in the construction, installation and maintenance of the transmission, distribution, generation and use of electricity and the precautions that must be observed when carrying out any work related to said facilities to avoid any type of electrical accident.
