A play Nine Ten by an eminent American playwright and director Warren Leight occupies a place of honour among brilliant examples of accurately portraying human life, routine problems and the trifles of life that are not important but to which We pay close attention and consider them to be the meaning of life.
The plot of the work focuses on a group of potential jurors who are not satisfied with their mission to be chosen to serve. They consider their difficult situation as a foolish obligation that they are forced to fulfill. The author deliberately chooses the hilarious portraits of five inhabitants of Manhattan in order to describe the perspective of human life from different sides. Thus, through dialogues, he describes the inner world of a spiritual dancer, a lazy young man, a policeman and two representatives of Wall Street employees.
