It is important to know the density of traffic in real time, especially in megacities for signal control and effective traffic management. In recent years, video monitoring and surveillance systems have been widely used in traffic management. Traffic control is a very difficult task for the traffic control department, especially in metropolitan cities. The project is designed to verify the density of traffic at a particular location and the information is transmitted to the traffic control station. This project uses a regulated 5V and 500mA power supply. The three-terminal voltage regulator 7805 is used for voltage regulation. The bridge full wave rectifier is used to rectify the secondary output of the 230 / 12V reduction transformer.
