Voting is the most important process that takes place to reveal the opinion of the people in the selection of the government or in any subject that is being considered. Therefore, conventional voting systems based on paper voting are being replaced by electronic voting machines. Voting is a decision-making mechanism in a society and security is in fact an essential part of the vote. The term "electronic voting" represents the practice of electronic voting in order to safeguard security, reliability and transparency. The crucial role in determining the outcome of an election, electronic voting systems must be developed with the greatest responsibility and security. Electronic voting machines help blind users by reading instructions using headphones and also provide essential tools to help people with disabilities. Voting machines are the combination of mechanical and electronic equipment that are needed to vote and show election results. The main proposal for the use of voting machines was given in 1838. There are a large number of intelligent systems present that employ microcontrollers for their operation and several other voting systems have been developed to ensure a safe voting casting process. Facility to obtain information on the number of voters in one place. In this document, the GSM-based design of an electronic voting machine has been presented for sending the polling results to a monitoring station over a mobile network.
