The increase (net of depreciation) of tangible assets of 5,233.33 crores as of March 31, 2012, mainly represents the establishment of new production capacity for Evoque in Halewood, the Dharwad plant and other additions to capacity / new plans Products of the Company. The increase (net of amortization) of intangible assets was 7,758.12 crores, attributable mainly to new product development projects.

The Company's industrial base in India extends to Jamshedpur, Pune, Lucknow, Pantnagar, Sanand and Dharwad.
