Seating table tips
• You need 3 feet per person to sit comfortably.
• You can assign seats in two ways: assign people to a specific table, but allow them to choose their seat or assign them specific seats by placing their place cards on each seat.
• Give each table a name or number.
• Seat couples side by side on circular tables opposite each other on long tables.
• Be sure to leave enough space-48 "preferred, and at least 36" -between tables for people to walk to the bathroom or for servers to move.
• Round tables are easier to move and maximize customer interaction.
• The back of the chair should be about 2 to 3 feet apart.
• Make sure to leave room for any specific event of items such as a buffet table, bedside table, registration table, floors, supports, DJ stand, lectern and projector screen as appropriate.
