A new design for triangular broadband microstrip patch antenna using probs fed. The return loss at the center frequency is -12.48 dB at 10.075 GHz. The VSWR bandwidth of the proposed anteroom is extremely closer to the value of 1.5 and the VSWR at the center frequency is 1.4.
Radar and other communication system such as satellite, Global Position System (GPS) often require the operation of broadband frequency. The operation of broadband frequency of triangular microstrip antennas has been studied by many researchers using probe power. In this paper we present the result of the simulation using a triangular forearm with probs fed. Therefore, this work proposes a design of the microstrip triangular antenna's wide curving operation using HFSS (high frequency structure stimulator) that is commercially available and depends on FEM (finite element method) analysis.
A switchable triangular microstrip antenna is proposed for two-frequency operation. Two lines of spur are incorporated in the triangular patch and two pin diodes are used to activate or deactivate the winding lines. The resonance frequency of the microstrip antenna can be adjusted by turning the diodes on or off. Because the antenna structure is printed on a single layer of metal, this antenna can be easily constructed.
