These days, mass-produced vehicles benefit from research into the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). An example of an ITS is the vehicle's Cruise Control (CC), which allows it to maintain a predefined reference speed, save fuel or energy consumption, avoid excessive fines or focus all driver attention in the direction of the vehicle. However, achieving efficient cruise control is not easy on roads or urban streets where sudden changes in the speed limit can occur due to unexpected obstacles or maintenance work, causing inattentive drivers, traffic accidents. In this communication we present a new communication and control system of Infrastructure to Vehicles (I2V) for intelligent speed control, which is based on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology for the identification of road traffic signals and Hall effect. A fuzzy logic controller, based on the fusion of sensors from the information provided by the I2V infrastructure, allows the efficient adaptation of the speed of the vehicle to the circumstances of the road. The performance of the system is verified empirically, with promising results.
The proposed design is cost effective, reliable and has the precise speed and control tracking function. It is a fully integrated system so that it can be implemented in all vehicles, so it is easy to track and control vehicles at any time. Accidents can be avoided if we control the speed of the vehicle. The use of GSM and GPS technologies allows the system to track the object and provide updated information on current travel. If a password such as SMS is sent by the owner, it automatically stops the vehicle or we can use it for another work, it can provide real-time control. This system finds its application in the monitoring of the traffic in real time. It could be used as a valuable tool for the traveler in real time. The current system may be able to provide a monitoring process from anywhere. The purpose of this system is to design and integrate a new system that is integrated with GPS-GSM to provide the following characteristic: a) Location information, b) Real-time SMS tracking, c) It is instantaneous, so Therefore, we can receive execution report quickly.
