The use of the proper method of irrigation is important because the main reason is the lack of rainfall and the scarcity of water from the land reserve. The continuous extraction of water from the earth is reducing the water level because much land is slowly coming in areas of land without irrigation. Another very important reason for this is due to the unplanned use of water because a significant amount of water goes to waste. For this purpose; We use this system of automatic irrigation of plants. The system derives the power of solar energy through photovoltaic cells. Hence, dependence on erratic trade power is not necessary. In this project we use the solar energy that is used to operate the irrigation pump. The circuit consists of parts of the sensor built using the IC of the operational amplifier. Op-amp's are configured here as a comparator. Two rigid copper wires are inserted into the ground to detect if the soil is wet or dry.

A microcontroller is used to control the entire system by monitoring the sensors and when the sensors sense dry ground condition, then the microcontroller will send command to relay IC driver whose contacts are used to start the engine and the engine will turn off When the Ground is wet
The microcontroller performs the above work when it receives the signal from the sensors through the comparator output and these signals operate under the control of software that is stored in microcontroller ROM. The condition of the pump, ie ON / OFF, is displayed on a 16X2 LCD that is interconnected with the microcontroller. In addition, the project can be improved by interfacing it with a GSM modem to gain control over the switching operation of the motor.
