1. The free 1GB data package is valid for all Vodacom Prepaid, Top Up, uChoose and contract customers, except-
to. Community Services phones / SIMs
2. To use the free 1GB batch, a customer needs to have a GSM device with packet data capacity
3. The free package is valid in the Vodacom SA network and can not be used in international roaming.
4. Free package can be used in the standard APN 2G / 3G / LTE only. The package is not valid on other APNs including corporate APN
5. This 1GB data packet is assigned by default. Customers are not required to opt
6. The free 1GB package is valid from 00:01 hours to 24:00 hours on May 11, 2014 only
7. Contract customers need to initiate a data session to activate the free 1 GB package
8. There will be no transfer of unused data from this package
9. This package will provide full access to the data on all packet carriers available through the total Vodacom network
10. Once the free 1GB batch has been exhausted or expired, whichever occurs first, the use of additional data will be consumed from any other active data packet or the default data type applicable to the customer's pricing plan.
11. Customers can check the remaining balance in the free 1GB data packet by:
• Direct USSD code * 100 * 600 # (Prepaid, Topup and uChoose only)
• Direct USSD code * 111 * 600 # (All payment types)
• MyPhone - dial * 111 #
• Call the IVR 100 for free
• Vodacom online portal (Vodacom.co.za), Mobi site and MyVodacom application
• SMS the keyword 'Bundle' to 31050
• SMS the keyword 'BAL' to 100 (Prepaid, Topup and uChoose only)
