Standby Power Generation System
In this standing step power generation project is designed to turn the foot step, walk and run the energy into electric power. It is used to generate electricity by walking or running on foot. The demand for electrical energy is increasing day by day. But conventional power generation resources are now not enough for total electricity demand. Therefore, many researchers and engineers are working on unconventional forms of electric power generation. The foot step power generation system is also a non-conventional electric power production system. It converts the mechanical energy of foot steps into electrical energy through the use of transducers. This power generation system can become very popular among populated countries like Pakistan, China, India. It can be implemented on roads, bus stations and many public places. Although this system is inexpensive, but can make a big difference in the country's electric power generation.
The foot step power generation system basically converts the power of foot power into electric power using the piezoelectric sensor. The piezoelectric sensor is a transducer that converts the energy of the force into electrical energy.
The operation of the step power generation system consists of the following main points:
Piezoelectric sensor interconnected with a micro-controller and used as a transducer to convert the energy of the force into electrical energy
It consists of a large number of piezoelectric sensors connected in series. The kinetic energy of the transducers connected in series is converted into electrical energy.
Voltages generated by piezoelectric sensors are fed to the elements of the circuit to obtain an adequate output.
Output power is stored in batteries.
