Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student pursuing a professional degree. It is considered a part of the College curriculum, primarily seen in engineering courses / MBA. Objectives of the industrial visit is to provide students with an overview about the internal working of the companies. We know, theoretical knowledge is not sufficient to make a goodprofessional career. To go beyond academics, industrial visit provides students practice a perspective on the world of work. It offers students an opportunity to learn virtually through interaction, methods and practices of employment working. It gives them exposure to current working practices, as opposed to possibly of theoretical knowledge taught at the University. Industrial tours offer an excellent opportunity to interact with industry and learn more about the industrial environment. Industrial tours are organised by the colleges for students with a goal of providing students the functional ability in different sectors as information technology, manufacturing and services, finance and marketing.
