Aeronautical Engineering remains one of the most fascinating topics of applied science and engineering. On the other hand, as a nation, if we develop aerospace technology, other technologies are also being updated proportionally. Aerospace engineers develop new technologies for use in aviation, defense systems, and aerospace exploration, often specializing in areas such as aerodynamics, Aeronautics and space, propulsion structures aerospace, the guidance, navigation and control, instrumentation and communication, or production methods.
Department offers a dynamic academic atmosphere that allows a search independently and freely exchange ideas. The Department has a continuous interaction with R & D international organisations in the field of aerospace engineering that lead to mutually beneficial research activities.
The Department of aeronautical engineering was created in 2000 with an intake of 60 and upgraded to 120 in 2008. In addition, there's a 20% more seats under lateral entry scheme. The Department has experienced rapid growth since its inception. The Department started the M Tech program in aerospace engineering with an intake of 18 from the 2008 school year and increased to 36 in 2010.
