Diode is a two terminal electronic component which conduct in one direction and has low resistance to the current flow in one direction and has high resistance in the other.It is a semiconductor material with a p-n junction connected to the two electric terminals.It can be either forward biased or reverse biased.When the p terminal is connected to the positive polarity and n to the negative, the diode is said to be in forward biased condition and the reverse is called reverse biased condition.
