The Query Verification Tool (QVT) enables a user to generate TCAP queries to external databases
through the CLI interface.The different query types supported are:
-Toll-Freeâ€Generated by the AIN Feature Server
-Line Information Database (LIDB)â€Generated by the POTS Feature Server
-Local Number Portability (LNP)â€Generated by the AIN Feature Server
Command Format:
The command format used by this tool is:
query <lidb|toll-free|lnp> parameter=value;
Response Format:
The response of the system to a query is in the following format:
Reply: <success|failure>; parameter=value;
The Response Parameters commonly encountered are:
OPCâ€Origination Point Code, TTâ€Translation Type, SSNâ€Subsystem Number, ACG Component Received, GAP-Interval, GAP-Duration, Announcement-Cause-Code etc.
