WHAT IS ENERGY CRISIS
The global definition of the energy crisis is “A great shortfall or price rise in the supply of energy resources to an economy is called as energy crisis.” One of the most important cause of this shortfall is the unavailability of the non renewable energy sources.
Basically energy crisis draw the attention of the human beings when the entire world face the shortage of the oil from the year 1973.
The event that occurs during these times draw our attention towards the energy crisis. Some of the events are Iranian Revolution in 1979, The Gulf war in 1990 etc.
The rise in the price of the crude oil alone with already high taxation on road fuel in the UK caused the energy crisis there. In 2000. The oil prices increase of 2004 to 2006 caused energy crisis due to tight supply margins in the face of increasing demands from the remaining world, especially from China.
Natural gas crisis also play a major role in the energy crisis.
So basically we can say that crisis of oil, natural gas plays a mjor role in the energy crisis..
Here is graph that shows the crisis of the oil in the california:

After Oil – Natural Gas?
Use of natural gas in daily life, (e.g. as transport fuel) requires extensive infrastructure build-up
The production of natural gas will peak between 2020 - 2030 as well, hence it is only a temporary solution (Goodstein)
Delhi has shifted to running all its public transportation buses on gas, greatly reducing the levels of air pollution
India does not have large gas reserves. The best option for India is to obtain gas from Iran, but a gas pipeline across Baluchistan (Pakistan) may have significant security liabilities
