The objective of this project is to design and identify the warning system of the railway accident using wireless communication GSM technology. GSM modem provides communication interface, it transfers transparent device protocols over a network through a serial interface. GSM modem is a wireless modem that works with GSM wireless networks. This GSM modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and work like a mobile phone with its own unique phone number. The advantage of using this modem will be that you can use your RS232 port to communicate and develop embedded applications. Applications such as SMS control, data transfer, remote control and logging can be easily developed. The modem can be connected directly to the PC serial port or to any microcontroller. It can be used in GPRS mode for connecting to the Internet and for many applications for data logging and control. In GPRS mode you can connect to any remote FTP server and upload files for data logging. This GSM modem is a highly flexible plug and plays a quad band Sim 300 GSM modem for direct and easy integration of RS232 applications. Supports features such as voice, SMS, data / fax, GPRS and integrated TCP / IP stack. This project is designed in such a way that GSM modem is interfaced between the controller using serial communication. The main purpose of this project is to warn people of railway accidents using vibration sensors. A sensor is interfaced for the sensor, this sensor may get railway accidents, each railway coach has a vibration sensor, if the train runs normally, there is no vibration. If an accident occurs then any one of the sensors in the train should be activated and the microcontroller is taken from the sensor. After detecting the pulse from the sensor microcontroller, GSM sends an SMS to a special number through the modem and in order to alert the buzzer, the microcontroller accident reports with the coach number which is affected by the accident. This coach number was detected by the sensor in which the physical location was placed in the coach. A buzzer will be interfaced to the controller for alerting the status of a 16X2LCD sensor will be interfaced for the controller. This project uses a regulated 5V, 500 MA power supply. 7805 is used for three terminal voltage regulator voltage regulation.
