In this age of Internet and smart phone, paper books are almost obsolete. Many developers have come up with eBooks that can be read online on the computer or on a smartphone. Users can now access them offline at any time without carrying a bulky pBook (Paper Book). The stable application of the eBook should restrict and control the use of the contents to protect the copyright. Encryption and enforcement of digital policies are generally managed by Digital Rights Management (DRM). The stable system for online and offline readers protects the intellectual property of authors and publishers, providing protection for their digital content, secure distribution of e-books, authentication, authorization, market share and monetary transactions. Content Piracy has always been a major problem in the management of a library system. To protect against piracy, publishers must track and trace whether or not the user is authorized and to what extent privileges should be provided. For publishers, authors are concerned about lost revenue from unauthorized and unpaid access to their valuable content and efforts. This is an old problem with pBooks that has now come in the forefront with the introduction of eBook applications online and offline. It is necessary to propose a solution that provides a good user experience, content security and integrity for publishers. In this project, we will explore how user restrictions and access controls can be applied through a Content Management System (CMS). Drupal, Joomla and WordPress are few of the powerful CMS where a developer has to integrate several modules with basic modules and configure them according to the need of an organization. We will focus on the effective use of Drupal to import an e-book (eg .doc, .docx, etc.) into Drupal to manage administrative and user policies to develop an eLibrary System for University system.
