Nowadays most of the library is using any of the manual systems for monitoring day-to-day activity or they are using desktop, spreadsheet as MS Excel application to manage day-to-day activity. In this proposed JAVA library management system will run in client server mode and the user can check the availability of the book, can search the books, library staff can issue, receive books and management can check the report . The system will store historical data. Administration can display at any time the total status of the book, the status of the library card. The eLibarary management system is used to overcome all the problem that are currently facing, and the complete atomization of manual or semi-automatic process management of the library.
